Hi, I’m Lyndi!

About 10 years ago, I started buying products from a rising online activewear company. Then, about a year ago, they reached out to me about becoming one of their return “locations.” What that meant was I would receive brand-new items that had been returned to their store (still with the tags on). I paid a fee for the items I received, and then I could do whatever I wanted with them after that.

The only problem? I started receiving so many items that I didn’t know what to do with them all!

That’s how Lyndi’s Activewear was born. I wanted to create a company that puts these perfectly good items to use. With consumerism at an all-time high, I didn’t want to contribute to making even more new products that might just get returned or thrown away without ever being worn. Re-selling items that were bought but never used has really opened my eyes to the fact that we don’t need to keep adding to the never-ending cycle of production in the fashion industry.

That’s also why we started our mystery boxes. When packages arrive at my door, I never know exactly what I’m going to open, and I thought it would be fun to share a little of that surprise with all of you. You choose the size you need, but the items themselves are a mystery until your package arrives. It’s fun, it’s a new way to shop, and it helps me keep my inventory balanced across all the different items I receive.
